Discover the stories of early settlement on the Williams Heritage Trail, a thoughtfully created experience that brings the town’s history to life. The Heritage Trail is made of two parts. The first being a one kilometre walk along the main street of Williams, where interpretive points highlight significant historic sites and buildings within the township. O
The second part is a scenic 35km drive to Quindanning, taking visitors through picturesque countryside rich in history and rural charm. Along the road, there is an optional visit to the former Tarwonga School site and historic inn, adding further depth and interest to the journey. With quiet roads, open landscapes, and opportunities to stop for picnics, the trail makes for a relaxed and rewarding half day outing.
